March 2024 Tarot Energy Reading
Changes and new beginnings are here
These posts will be a chance to tap into the energy and guidance for the collective each month. We’ll look at the overall energy for the month, the guidance for action this month, and what the month holds as possibility with those actions taken. I may change up the readings as I go along. I’ll just let my intuition lead.
Tarot is like a language of symbols. I remember getting readings, before I learned how to read the Tarot, and just feeling like it was a foreign language I had never even heard let alone understood. I just listened to what the reader interpreted but when they mentioned the specific cards, I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. Then as I learned the language, it all began to fall into place. I may sprinkle some of that translation of specific cards into these readings. If you want more on the basics of understanding the Tarot, please let me know.
The deck I’m using for this reading is a French vintage tarot deck. Its not as descriptive visually or symbolically so I really have to rely on the understanding of each card and my intuition.
The overall energy for this reading was the Ace of Discs/Pentacles. In fact, there was a lot of earth energy showing up in this reading through the Discs suit, letting me know the energy is focused on our material reality, whether that is our finances, our bodies, or our work. The Ace of Discs is letting us know a new reality is at hand this month. Practical changes in our lives are happening or available to us in any or all of these specific areas.
Current Energies for March:
As I drew cards for the prevailing energy of March, I see even more earth energy. We have the nine of discs reversed, the six of wands, and the seven of discs. Here we have the energy of spirit or fire (wands) sandwiched between the earth energy of the discs. Our current reality is dependent on our spiritual connection and our collaboration with Spirit. The nine of discs reversed is letting us know we cannot do our lives alone right now, and we are not doing it alone. In order to be on purpose and to create what is in service to the greater good, we are tapping into the potent energy that is beyond what we can see. We have collaborators in the spirit world and we have collaborators in our physical reality. We are in it together, creating the reality we are experiencing. Our connection to each other is being felt in a way that is leading us as a collective to victory. To creating a world fueled by heart and spiritual connection, rather than the ruthless and harmful ways we’ve seen the unclaimed shadow playing out. We are finally seeing the returns on our spiritual work and now is a time for reaping the harvest of our hard work. Looking out at the world, it’s looking pretty bleak. But, truthfully it is a time where we can see so many of us connected and devoted to bringing in change. We are seeing things in an undeniable way. Things that, I’m sorry to say, many people have not wanted to really look at, understand, or admit. We are still in the space of needing to assess and refine our approach to what works. This can be in our individual lives as well as on a larger scale. But we are on the right track.
Guidance for the month of March:
This month, focus a little more on stretching and growing yourself beyond the stable structures you’ve created for yourself. If you’re wondering how you’ll be able to take care of yourself financially or otherwise, it may be a time to reach out beyond yourself for support. We see even more earth energy showing up here as a need to focus on our material reality. Try new things this month. Maybe a new exercise routine, a new avenue for income, or something you’ve really wanted to try your hand at but have been too afraid. I’ve really felt this energy, and this guidance really speaks to me. It’s no surprise this is the month I am launching this Substack and stretching out of my comfort zone. Now is the time to follow that intuition and give it a try. Trust what your helpers in spirit are nudging you toward. Again, this is a time to really be in spiritual connection and listen. Don’t just move ahead in creating something until you’ve really listened. Following those nudges is how we can express our gifts into the world in service to the whole.
The Queen of Cups is a being who has come into emotional mastery. She is not afraid because she trusts in her intuition, and she goes to Source first to receive and be filled up rather than seeking outside validation. Because of this she can build something lasting. We’re seeing this theme of really collaborating with Source and moving from that spiritual grounding for ourselves and for the collective.
What the month holds as a result of our action:
It’s so interesting that we see all Cups in this portion of the reading. Cups being the energy of love, emotion, relationship, soul, and magnetism. If we’re able to really do what is being asked of us in the previous portion of the reading, we will definitely be rewarded. Letting our intuition lead us toward ways to stretch ourselves, take some risks, and change things up. Reaching toward our spiritual connection to collaborate on creating an upgrade in our reality, and letting ourselves partner up with others as well. All of this is opening up the kind of changes that spell joy and love. The King of Cups has been purifying his heart and healing. As a result, he is magnetic. He is becoming the light and returning to his true essence of love. He is partner to the Queen of Cups that shows up at the end of the last portion of the reading. The mastery of the Queen and King make us ready for mature love with the two of cups. This can mean a balanced love within the self or it can mean coming together with another in Divine union. The foundational set up of our partnership with Source/Divine is readying us for true self love and/or true partnership in love. And the ten of cups, well, this is one of the brightest cards in the deck. This is overflowing love, happiness, peace, abundance, bliss, etc. Tens are culminations and beginnings all in one. We have the potential to create a world for ourselves and others built on heart. I have a feeling we are going to finally feel some relief and a turning of the tides. If we’ve been using the last year wisely, we’ve been looking to our own unhealed places that are mirrored in the world out there. And we’ve been meeting all the feelings that need our attention. We’ve let the tragedy, horror, and difficulty change us for the better. Now we must take what hasn’t been working, what has been hurting, and where we have felt lost, and use it to create a world that feels better to the heart. Turn the suffering into sweetness.
